This interior renovation includes
the entry foyer, living room, dining room and family
room. The clients requested assistance in updating
the interior spaces of the home with limited
alterations to existing wall structures. Original
slate flooring was maintained and restored in the
entry foyer. A new entry door was designed to allow
light into a previously dark space.
Designing a fireplace and hearth created a focal
point in the family room. In addition, an existing
wet bar was recreated with custom designed cabinetry
and lighting.
The living room work included redesigning and
replacing the east and south picture window walls to
highlight the expansive landscaped yard. Lighting
was also designed to accommodate the art selected by
the owner on the architects’ recommendations.
Interior elements designed by Nicholas Clark
included; designing and selecting furniture,
redesigning the fireplace/hearth and custom
designing an area rug for the space. Furniture was
also designed and selected for the dining room. |
